Former Ivorian refugees who opted to remain in Ghana post-cessation have made a big step forward today. The GHANA REFUGEE BOARD (GRB) received 500 Ivorian passports and 72 birth certificates from Ivorian government officials responsible for refugees (DAARA). GRB will now hand the passports to the Ghana Immigration Service for the issuance of residence permits. Soon, these Ivorians will find a real durable solution and can truly call Ghana home.
